Clive Falla, FCA, FCCA

Clive was educated at The Grammar School for Boys and after leaving school, started training as an accountant with Coopers and Lybrand (now PwC). He joined Collenette Jones & Co in 1981 as a partner. Clive has gained a wealth of experience during his long and illustrious career having provided accounting, tax, audit and general advisory services to all manner of Guernsey business and individuals.

Outside work Clive is a member of the Methodist Council and plays an active part of his church’s community. He generally tries to live “the good life” and is a keen gardener.

Jon Collenette, BSc, FCA, FCCA
- Director

Jon was educated at Elizabeth College and went on to study Politics at Bristol University. Following a period of travel and teaching he returned to Guernsey where he trained with Ernst & Young in Guernsey and qualified in 1995. Following a number of years auditing a broad spectrum of Guernsey based companies Jon joined Collenette Jones in 1998.  He was appointed a Director of the firm in 2001.

Jon is the Treasurer of the Bailiwick Bass Club, the Treasurer of the Rocquaine Regatta LBG and a recently retired Trustee of the Submarine Charitable Trust. Outside of work Jon is a mad keen fisherman and minis football coach for Sylvans SC.

Michael Collenette, BA (Oxon), MSc, ACA
- Director

Mike was educated at Elizabeth College and went on to study Physics at Oxford University. Following his undergraduate degree Mike completed an MSc in aerodynamics at Cranfield University and then returned to Guernsey. He trained with the Guernsey office of Coopers and Lybrand (now PwC) and qualified in 1999. 

Prior to joining Collenette Jones in 2001 he specialised in the audit of Guernsey companies and groups with focus on the Financial Services market. He also spent six months in Sydney and Melbourne on special projects for two well known Australian financial institutions.  He was appointed as a Director of the firm in February 2007 having built a solid client base encompassing a broad spectrum of local clients. 

Outside of work Mike enjoys boating, hiking, fishing, cooking and the manly pursuit of barbequing.

Gareth Nicolle, MEng, CA
- Director

Gareth was educated at the Grammar School, Guernsey and went on to study for a Masters degree in Naval Architecture at Southampton University. Upon graduation in 2001, he joined Ernst & Young in Guernsey and qualified in 2004.

During his time with Ernst & Young Gareth audited a wide range of Guernsey companies including listed funds, investment holding companies, licensed fiduciary companies, captive insurance and general trading companies. He was also involved in special project work including forensic accounting investigations and liquidations.

Gareth joined Collenette Jones in 2009 and has worked on a broad range of the firm's clients and was promoted to Director in January 2011.

Outside work Gareth enjoys watching rugby, riding around Guernsey on his push bike (in fair weather only), playing golf and running around after his two sons.
