Supporting the Directors, our accounts and audit team consists of four Chartered/ Chartered Certified Accountants who are assisted by four AAT/CAT qualified accountants and a trainee who is studying for his Chartered Certified Accountant qualification.
Our team has vast experience of preparing and auditing sole traders, partnerships and companies' financial statements across a broad spectrum of Guernsey businesses. This includes sole traders, trading companies, investment holding companies and financial service businesses.
Their expertise does not stop there as they have many years experience of providing tax and other advice to local businesses and are able to provide pragmatic solutions to issues that businesses face. Our team of professionally qualified accountants is comprised of:
Angie Willis, BSc, ACA
Angie qualified with a big four accounting firm in the UK. Having moved to the island with her family she has been with the firm since 1991 (and surely must be coming up to being presented with some sort of commemorative plaque). Angie has a wealth of experience providing audit, accounting, tax and advisory services to local businesses.
Helen Gilchrist, FCCA
Helen qualified with Ernst & Young and went on to spend some time working in industry. She joined the firm in 2005 and manages to juggle a busy family life with working on her client cases.
Paul England, FCCA
Paul qualified with Deloittes (formerly Deloitte & Touche) in 1996. He joined the firm in 2007 and since then has been subjecting us to his views on the "superiority" of Manchester United.
Guy Rogers, BA, ACA
Guy qualified with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in 2007. He joined the firm in 2008 and more often than not can be found fishing, kite surfing or playing hockey.
Our other accountants include:
Mark Parnwell, CAT
Mark started with the firm in 1993 and is pushing Angie hard for the commemorative plaque (although his penchant for sports cars keeps him young).
Lindsay Falla
Lindsay joined the firm in 2002 and in addition to working on client cases, plays an important role in the financial management of the business.
Simon Shaw, CAT, ACCA (part qualified)
Simon joined the firm in 2007 straight from the Grammar School, Guernsey and is part way through studying for his ACCA qualification. In addition to working on accounts production and audit services, Simon has extensive experience in dealing with the Guernsey Registry and associated matters.
Alicia Ridley, AAT
Alicia joined the firm in 2009 and brings a wealth of experience dealing with accounting and bookkeeping for small businesses.
Jordan Williams
Jordan is the newest addition to the team at Collenette Jones having joined the firm in August 2011 straight from her studies at the Grammar School, Guernsey. Under her training contract Jordan will be studying towards the ACCA qualification.
Consultants
Supporting the Directors and accounts team are Rodney Collenette and Edwin Jones, FCCA the founders of the firm in their capacity of consultants to the firm. They typically work reduced hours (although you would not necessarily recognise that fact) so that even in pseudo-retirement they can bring their vast experience to help service our client base and keep the directors in line!
